The purpose of the Texas Real Estate Marketing Course is to help students understand how marketing applies to the professional practice of real estate. This course teaches students that real estate marketing is more than advertising, social media, signs, flyers, or listing promotion. Real estate marketing is the process of understanding consumers, identifying target markets, communicating value, building trust, promoting properties and services, and helping buyers and sellers make informed decisions.

As a result of this course, students will gain a practical understanding of how successful real estate professionals use marketing strategy, consumer psychology, market research, technology, social media, pricing strategy, client education, financing awareness, legal compliance, and ethical professionalism in their daily business. The overall objective of the course is to prepare future Texas real estate license holders to market real estate services and properties in a way that is accurate, lawful, consumer-centered, professional, and effective.
