Texas Real Estate Principles II is one of the six qualifying courses required by the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) to sit for the real estate licensing exam. This course builds on the foundational concepts introduced in Principles I and focuses on the practical application of real estate principles in real-world transactions.

Students will develop a deeper understanding of real estate finance, appraisal, property management, leasing, land use controls, and regulatory requirements. The course also covers the Texas Real Estate License Act (TRELA), TREC rules, agency relationships, brokerage operations, and the professional responsibilities of license holders.

In addition, this course provides comprehensive instruction on federal and Texas fair housing laws, including housing discrimination, housing credit discrimination, and community reinvestment, ensuring students understand both legal compliance and ethical practice.

By the end of this course, students will be able to analyze real estate transactions, apply legal and financial concepts, and make informed decisions that align with Texas law and professional standards. This course is designed to prepare students for the Texas state licensing exam and for successful real-world practice as a real estate professional.
