OREGON BROKER ADVANCED PRACTICES

Welcome to the Broker Advanced Practices course, designed for real estate brokers in the state of Oregon. This course is required by OAR 863-020-0010 and must be completed before the first active renewal of a real estate broker license or before the first license reactivation following an inactive first renewal. The course will provide you with 27 hours of clock hour credit and a certificate of course completion after passing the final exam with a score of 75% or higher.

In this course, you will learn about various aspects of real estate broker operations, including business ethics, fair housing laws, NAR Code of Ethics, recent administrative actions, property management, tenant relations, business economics, agency relationships, real estate contracts, misrepresentation and negligence, and advertising. The course is designed to provide you with the knowledge and skills necessary to operate ethically and legally as a real estate broker in the state of Oregon.

In addition to the Broker Advanced Practices course, you are required to complete the 3-clock hour Law and Rule Required Course (LARRC) as mandated by OAR 863-020-0010. Our school offers these courses to fulfill the clock hour requirements for renewing a real estate broker license in Oregon for the first time, bringing the total clock hours required to 30.
