Texas Final Exam Requirements:

Important: Read Before You Start Your Exam

Note: The final exam is NOT open book.
Please make sure to put away all study materials and electronic devices before you begin.

For your Texas Qualifying Course exam, you will need to complete a proctoring process. You have two options for how your exam is proctored. Please read the instructions carefully before you begin.

Option 1: Supervised Proctoring

With this option, you will have someone you know supervise your exam in person.
Your proctor must be an approved individual such as a pastor, librarian, or similar.

Steps for Supervised Proctoring:

Enter Proctor Information:
Before you begin, enter your proctor’s details, including their email address and organization’s website URL.

Proctor Code (Before Exam):
Your proctor will receive an email with a special code. Ask them to enter this code before you start the exam.

Proctor Code (After Exam):
When you finish the exam, your proctor will enter a final code from their email to submit your test for scoring.

Note: Your exam will not be graded until your proctor enters this final code!

Option 2: Web Proctoring (No Proctor Needed)

With this option, you do not need another person to supervise. You will verify your identity through your webcam.

Steps for Web Proctoring:

Payment:
Complete the payment for web proctoring.

ID Verification:
Hold your driver’s license next to your face and take a photo using your webcam when prompted.

Camera Setup:
If you have more than one webcam, choose the correct one from the options provided.

Live Feed:
You’ll see your webcam live feed on your screen. When ready, click “Take Photo” to capture your ID verification photo.

Save Photo:
Your photo will be saved for security purposes.

During the Exam:
Before every security question (including at the end of the exam), you will be asked to take a new photo to confirm your identity.
